A little about me

I am the third of four Audreys  within family.  I live in Northeast Ohio with family.

I've worked as a photographer, photojournalist,  photo editor,  and writer,  among other things.

Scroll down to see a tiny sample of images I took and some  I edited for others.

Selected photography

I began learning photography  when I was 13, as my stepfather let me use his manual-only camera.

Photo edit for a client.

Photo taken at Vintage Market Fair on 12/05/2022, while working at gate there.

Example of images I took to benefit PAWS Ohio. Here, my friend poses with his dog and Santa for a $5 printout portrait, December 14 of 2019. (The backdrop you see here I made two-sided from wall tapestries, and I designed the embroidery you see in the trim for my machine to stitch out automatically.)

A friend of my eldest child requested a photo shoot, because she was having a baby, but it was January of 2019, so I had to set it up in the back room, which has a south-facing window, so I wouldn't have to set up too many lights. For that, she got images including three backgrounds, and a flash drive to go get them printed, as well as smaller images that are branded for uploading them to social media. I only do photoshoots lately for people if they specifically ask me to, but used to shoot for Lifetouch Sportography, which since changed name of that teams-oriented sports service.

One example of what can be done with Adobe Photoshop Camera.

Item titleA coworker asked me take senior pictures for her daughter in 2016.

A photo and story that ran in the Medina Gazette in 2010.

A 'Pin' the Legs on a Spider game I made for the kids to play at their school Halloween party.(Gave them each a plastic spider ring, as they took turns being turned and placing stiffened fleece legs onto this.) It took me three weeks to make fleece hold a shape, but it was worth it as the kids couldn't stop talking about it at school the next day.

An image I took in 2008 when I covered PAWS Ohio for my photojournalism class final project. The original caption read as follows."Mr. Magoo, a formerly stray Pit Bull, got cozy in the lap of PAWS Dog Foster Jane Frosty (center) at the PAWS Critical Care Seminar on Monday, April 23, 2007. Susan Boyle (left), PAWS Treasurer and Webmaster of PAWSOhio.org, and Debbie Ross (right), PAWS Foster and Garfield Heights PetSmart Coordinator, looked on."

A collection of images I took over the years on Independence Day, then stacked up in Adobe Illustrator for a course I made on the Adobe Education Exchange 'Train the Trainer' 75-hour workshop I took with more than 500 global educators. My course received five-star peer reviews.

Girl Scout troop members pet Nokie, a disabled cute doggie, while PAWS Ohio volunteer smiles on, holding him, back on April 12, 2018. The girls had chosen to gift PAWS Ohio with their cookie-earned money. [More info about PAWS Ohio at: http://www.pawsohio.org.]

A Java program I had to make for a class called Inyro to Programming I at Cleveland State University in 2007, which I took as an elective. It resulted in a B that ruined my perfect GPA.

A picture I took of a hat I embroidered 11/24/2022, after I got my embroidery machine back from service, to test how it works. I had to complete this project by hand.

Pregnancy pictures I shot in my home for a young couple you also see above.

The first time I tried free-motion quilting.

Welcome to my web

I sure do enjoy drawing ! It  brings out the kid in me, even when I get to flexing my skills professionally.

Not everything I ever submit to Adobe Stock makes it through to be posted there, not that I post constantly to it. Not everything I submit to Spoonflower goes to sale,  either.

There's been a few sales of my fabrics now, so I keep making collections.
